ISS Props Work
Working in inventory gave me hands on experience with the needs of propmasters and rental houses. I have experience with photography, writing, inventory, fabrication, and more from this position.
Inventory
Inventory incoming props from donations, purchases and transfers into custom computer system and sort acquisitions based on quality control parameters
Photography
Photograph and edit photos of props in Photoshop and manage photo galleries on Dropbox
Case Making
Fabricate packaging solutions for rare and fragile props using foam, plastic cases, exacto-knives, hot glue, laminators, paper cutters and other assorted materials
Writing and Pricing
Write descriptions and assign pricing of new props based on items already in the system
Research
Research items for reference information about eras, materials, function, and rarity
Quality Control
Coordinate repairs in Asana with other departments and third-party groups
